Hello, a few minutes ago I got a massive data corruption on my main hard drive, reasons unknown so far, i lost 95% of my files including almost all my work since 2007.
I recovered 2 physical backups and synced all together, unfortunately there’s some files that are lost forever.
WHAT IS SAFE:
- ALL MY WORKS FROM 2007 TO 2019
- ALL THE JANUARY RENDERS
- BRANKO, ELLIOT, ZEPPY, VAL, MCKENZIE, DUNCAN, MARCUS (AND FRIENDS), FITZ, ROLF, ARLO AND NICK (WIP ONE)
- BENJAMIN (DECEMBER VERSION)
- THE DOM’S DUNGEON (UNOPTIMIZED), THE NURSERY, THE PLAYROOM AND THE GYM
- THE SOURCE CODE OF THE ASSISTANT
WHAT IS LOST FOREVER:
- THE KENNEL SHOWROOM + ALL THE NEW PROPS
- BENJAMIN WITH HIS SHOWROOM GEAR (BRANKO WAS SAFE SO I CAN TRACKBACK IT TO BEN BUT I LOST THE TEXTURE FILES)
I merged the remaining files into the backup and im running from there at the moment, there’s not so much that I can do until tomorrow, none the less this is the most effective plan that i can made right now.
- THE TALENT SHOW WILL BE RELEASE THIS WEEK YES OR YES, BUT ON A DIFFERENT SCENARIO (SOMETHING LIKE A PRE-SHOW EXAM, INCLUDING THE SAME OPENING STORY)
- THE NEW MAIL INTEGRATIONS WILL HAVE TO BE PUSHED TO THE NEXT MONTH SO I CAN GET MY HANDS INTO A NEW HDD/SSD (FORTUNATELY I DIDN’T PURCHASE THEM YET)
I don’t know what else can I do right now, i don’t wanna burnt the backup too, i sincerely apologizes for this, it may sound sketchy just a few days before releasing the very teased Talent Show but this thing came out of nowhere and bashed all the work that i have made since the holidays and a bit back.
I will promise you a satisfaction once this is controlled, just a few more days holding before The Talent Show is released.
